Women Empowerment : Have we done it over?

We all are descendants of Aryan's (well most of us at least). Aryan's used to have a patriarchal system, meaning that male members used to be the head of the family. Now one may argue that it was maybe because male are physically stronger than women and it makes sense, since in those times, mostly all the work required one or other sort of physical labor. However, the fact remains that women are good with emotions, men are good with logic (I back my claim with the fact that in IIT-JEE, one of the most difficult entrance exam in the world top 132 were all boys), giving them an edge while taking a rational decision.

Well, coming to the point, since last decade,  women empowerment has been a boom in India. India witnessed many policies regarding women's development and empowerment. However, it seems like we have gone a step too ahead and in some fields have given women responsibility they can't handle. I am not saying that women are men's equal, I do believe in that and in fact acknowledge the fact that in some fields women have surpassed men (Kalpana Chawla and Sunita Williams are my idols in many ways). What I mean is that now, whenever a woman is given a top position in government or private sector, then instead of looking at her credentials, we start celebrating.

Let's start with our ex-President Smt. Pratibha Patil. She succeeded A.P.J. Abdul Kalam and we are all aware of how god-awful work she did. In recent years, Smt. Anandi Patel is the Chief Minister of Gujarat and take my word for it (yes, I live in Gujarat) she has taken over and completely ruined whatever good Mr. Narendra Modi did. Finally, as of today, Ms. Arundhati Bhattacharya is going to be appointed as the RBI governor when Rajan's term ends. Where Raghuram Rajan has a bachelor's degree with a gold medal from IIT Delhi and master's from IIM Ahmedabad, she only has a bachelor's degree in English (yeah, English). Although she is the current CEO is State Bank of India, under her leadership SBI, has reduced profits by 60% and taken bad decisions (giving a loan to Vijay Maliya). How she handles Indian ecomony, only time will tell.

4 Things that Indian parents got wrong

Usually, Indian parents are considered to be the best parents in the world with them taking proper care and nurturing their lives of their children, providing the best facilities possible.
But, there are still a few places where they need to improve or rather have to improve. Here is our list of things that Indian parents got wrong.

1) Too Controlling
Indian parents care too much for their child and no doubt it has it's perks but at the same time it limits the child's options. They think that are caring for their kids and in a way it is true, but it can have a very crucial impact on the child's life. For instance, how many parents would allow their kids to drop out of prestigious colleges to start their own companies which have little or no worth. No wonder we don't have any Indian google or facebooks. Let me generalize, how many parents would approve their kids for choosing arts stream? Not much, I guess. And yet you wonder, wonder why we don't produce Mozarts and Da Vincis.

2) Too Pampering
Indian parents pamper their kids way too much, to the point that the kids don't even learn the basic chores like cleaning floors or booking a ticket or depositing money in their account. No wonder when they go out in the world, they get to deal with theft, cheating, robbery etc.

3) Too Possessive
Indian parents somehow have this misplaced idea that their child couldn't live without them or vice versa. So, they don't allow their child to go far from them be it for further education or better job, they don't approve of it thereby, depriving them of a much better and productive life.

4) Too obsessive
The Indian parents whole world revolves around their child. It is as though their whole life they live for their children. Now, it is not a bad thing, but, by being so much protective they don't allow their kids to learn from their own mistakes. Heck, they don't even allow their kids to make mistakes, so when they grow up they can't find their path in life and in many circumstances can't decide from wrong to right.

5 Reasons To Outsource Content Management To India

In order to run your business successfully, the ads and the websites require catchy slogans like ‘READ MORE’, ‘SIGN UP’ or ‘REGISTER’ which appeals to the target audience.
Outsourcing content writing to content writers in India will have plenty of benefits like:

1)      FRESH PERSPECTIVE

Hiring someone from outside the office will obviously help in getting a fresh perspective as the person will have a clear picture of the product and can convey the idea of the overall service in persuading words. This process along with attracting the target audience helps you make necessary amends. Also, it would be helpful to gain the trust of the customers in the long run.

2)      CLEAR AND PROFESSIONAL CONTENT

If somebody from the office has written the content instead of a professional writer then chances are that the content is not that great and it does not introduce all the services that the firm is offering. On the other hand, well-written content can impress your customers and help them complete a scale. Indian content writers have tons of experience in writing content for big brands and international businesses. Formal Indian education with natural talents creates proficient professionals having unchallengeable skills that make India a leading destination for content writing outsourcing.

3)      QUALITY CONTENT

India is a hub of well qualified graduates and post graduates who are well versed in many disciplines including management, law, finance, medicine, science and information technology which makes it super easy to find a content writer who caters special requirements and technical know-how .Content writers in India for stringent guidelines and tones which result in the content being clear, grammatically correct and communicating the right message and unlike other Asian countries, Indians have a more solid social, cultural, economic and religious background.

4)      TIME SAVING

It often happens that the person who is appointed to write content does not complete it on time thereby causing a delay to the launch of the entire product. Due to the 12-hour time difference between India and the west it is possible to get your content up and going with absolutely no time delay. Also outsourcing the content writing will help the firm focus on the core business and concentrate those precious hours on generating revenue which were otherwise lost on writing content.

5)      COST EFFECTIVE

Outsourcing content writing can lead to less office space and also if content writing is given to freelancers than it will lead to a decrease in the number of full-time employees. Hence, requiring less capital for projects.

Therefore, you need not think anymore before outsourcing content writing assignments to India.

Perks of being 18 and above

Well, those of you who are 18+, it kind of sucks right now, with your teenage coming to an end and all that stuff. But, here is our list of special treatment that you receive on being 19.
1) Legal Benefits
Well, now you can get a license, drive vehicle invest in stock market. Isn’t it amazing? And what’s the best, you can legally get drunk (in some states). Can’t beat that, can you?
legal
2) Expected Maturity
Now you are thought to be mature, although there are some pretty good chances that you aren’t. You can watch cartoons all day, act weird, do anything you want and nobody gives a shit. Basically, you can do whatever you want.
maturity
3) People start taking you seriously
Nineteen is the age where the world around you changes. Suddenly everybody around you starts acting differently. Your younger siblings look at you with expectations, parents ask you about their child’s career advice (even though you yourself are not doing that great).
seriously
4) No more studying
Finally, parents understand that you are mature enough to think about yourself and don’t bother you with petty things like studying, thinking about future. Yeah, all that goes away (with some exceptions) as soon as you leave school.
studying
5) Get away with small things
When was the last time someone scolded your mother when she slipped a jar of pickle. The same thing is about to happen to you too. You are big and expected not to make mistakes. Wait, it gets better. You can get scold your younger cousins if they do the same thing.

6) You get to go to college
I saved the best one for the last. Yes, at 19 you will probably go to college (that is if you get through school). And if you are lucky then you will live in a hostel. Remember one thing though, branded or not, college is always fun.

What I Learned From TV Serials

Well, I am a huge fan of those sitcoms and I literally spend hours watching them every day, on my laptop and while many say that they are a waste of time, from what I have come to discover, it’s not entirely true. So here I present some of my favorite sitcoms and some great things that I have learned from it.
1)    The Game Of Thrones
The most practical out of the lot. Well, you don’t need to be a hero to win a war, all you need is a little bit of practical approach. That is the reason why Ned Stark died in the first season itself, and Lord Baelish and Lord Tyrion have still survived. Also during conversation with Jon Snow, he says

2)    How I Met Your Mother
‘Nothing good ever happens after 2 am.’ Well, jokes apart this serial made me realize the importance of having friends as they become a family away from family. It was really inspiring to watch how all the friends stick together and help each other out through all the different phases of life. And as Barney said ‘Whatever you do in life it’s not legendary unless your friends are there to see it.’

3)    Friends
My favorite out of all. Every character has its own fell to it. Joey taught the true meaning of friendship, Rachel taught it’s never too late to follow your dreams, Phoebe had  her own unique way of life, Ross cared about their friends the most, Monica showed the importance of cleanliness and being competitive lastly Chandler came in with his sarcasm and awesome jokes.

4)    Vampire Diaries
Although it consisted of power strives and politics there is this one aspect that clearly rises above all. Vampire Dairies focuses on every detail when it comes to death. Death on VD is always a sorry state, whether it is Rose or Katherine or Nadia. It always makes to cry (again hypothetically). Like however much we want Katherine gone during her last time we can’t help but feel sorry for her.

5) The Big Bang Theory
Never thought that watching something related to science could be this much fun. And then this song,

6) Sherlock
There is so much to learn from this show. Perception, deduction and what not. But one thing that clearly stands out from other detective serials and books and can be implemented in real life is the powerful technique to  create memory palaces. A very helpful trick to aid memory.

So yeah, these guys on small screen are totally awesome. What have you learned from your favoruite TV show. Let us know, in the comments.
